The most popular form of Mineral Makeup is Loose Powder Foundation & Blushes. If you review Mineral Makeup, they are finely ground minerals which are sterilized and pulverized from the earth; and then mixed with naturally occurring pigments to produce a variety of colours. Unlike traditional makeup, Mineral Makeup is non-comedongenic. It does not clog the skin pores nor does it contain lots of dyes; chemicals; fragrances or preservatives. Therefore these products are great for the skin and it allows the skin to look radiant and healthy.

Mineral Makeup has found its way into the hearts of many women who traditionally were unable to wear makeup for two reasons:

  1. it would cause their Inflammatory Skin Conditions to flare up
  2. they are too chemically sensitive to wear makeup

Mineral Makeup is the safe way to wear products for the skin and it may decrease irritations in such conditions as Acne, Rosacea or Inflammation as Mineral Makeup has anti-inflammatory properties. Now all women who suffer from these conditions are able to look and feel wonderful all day long.

As there are no oils used in the manufacturing of Mineral Makeup, Oily skin sufferers now have an excellent product that will work extremely well.

Mineral Loose Powder Foundation

Ingredients such as pure iron oxides & zinc oxide combined, can offer protection from the sun and it’s ageing effects. Mineral makeup does not encourage the growth of bacteria like other traditional makeup products. Therefore it is healthier to use and has a longer shelf life.

Mineral Makeup is not as new as you may think. Many cultures around the world have been using Mineral Makeup throughout history. It’s only recently that large cosmetic companies have researched and provided funding for the benefits of these naturally occurring powders.

Best way to apply Mineral Makeup:

Kabuki Brush

Using a large clean fluffy makeup brush loaded with finely ground Loose Mineral Powder, buff into the skin in a circular motion. Starting at the nose and working your way outward across the cheeks & all over the face creating an even coating of powder. If you are using moisturiser or primer before applying the Mineral Powder, always allow it to dry completely. Only then will you achieve an even dusting. If you do not wait for the primer or moisturiser to dry, you’ll end up with blotchy coverage.

If you are not used to wearing makeup, or you love the feeling like you’re not wearing any makeup, then this product is ideal for you. You can still get that “light as air” feeling with full coverage, covering spots; Rosacea; and pigmentation; etc, simply by buffing another coat of Mineral Makeup into your skin. You will achieve a flawless result, but it will still feel lightweight for the whole day and into the night.

No matter what makeup you choose to wear, always cleanse your face before heading off to bed. This allows your skin to have a break, and breathe without any product other than a nourishing moisturiser.

With all the wonderful benefits of using Mineral Makeup, it’s no wonder it is so popular. More and more women are discovering how fantastic it is.

Most Women feel Makeup is a required part of life. They do not feel complete until they have put their Makeup on for the day. Sometimes, they apply Makeup two or three times a day.

If you divide any town into sections, you are sure to find groups of women that have varying opinions on the use of Australia Makeup. If I was to pigeon hole, then you could say there was the following Australia Makeup Groups:

  • Australia Makeup Professionals
    •  The people that understand the differences in the products and know where and when to use the different products. These people always look amazing.
  • Women that buy makeup, but the wrong products
    • I think most of these people have never had any kind of training in wearing Australia makeup. Unfortunately, I think most women fall into this group. They have learnt their makeup techniques from friends and family. The best advice that could be given to women in this classification would be to spend an hour or two with a Professional Makeup Artist. The Makeup Artist will be able to give them a clear indication of what products and what colours they should be purchasing. Also, they will be able to show them how to apply the product.
  • Women that wear no Makeup
    • This group can really be divided further into smaller groups. But for whatever the reason, they have chosen to not wear make up.

Australia Makeup can be quite expensive, but when purchased in Kits, the price can be very acceptable. It is not uncommon to save hundreds of dollars when purchasing Australia Makeup in Kit form.

The only advice I can give is: If you are interested in learning more about Australia Makeup, seek the services of a Professional Australia Makeup Artist that can give you advice and training, possibly even supply products that are right for you.

You may ask why an “Australia Makeup Aritst”, why not watch a few YouTube videos? The Answer – Do Both. Conditions in Australia are like no other country in the world. Australia Makeup needs to be able to still work in our conditions. That is why it is important to seek an Australia Makeup Artist or products that designed to be used as Australia Makeup.
